Here is an experience report from one of our customers. Thank you for this detailed feedback!
As a passionate blogger, I always try to create valuable content for my readers. This can be stressful while trying to earn income from it. Despite this truth, the reader and the added value of my content are always in the foreground of my thoughts.
That’s why I’m always on the lookout for tools that help me increase my income from affiliate marketing and simplify the placement of affiliate links.
This is where ClickWhale came into play last year – a WordPress plugin that has become indispensable for me. Even for blogs like mine, affiliate marketing is a tool that makes the time I dedicate to creating consistent and relevant content lucrative.
It’s worth noting that I also actively use the AAWP plugin to automatically manage these links. But in this article, I would like to show you how I manage my affiliate links from third-party programs with a link manager like ClickWhale and how valuable such a tool is for me.
The Challenge: Effective Link Management & Monetization
The challenge for every blogger is managing links (outgoing, internal or affiliate-related) as effectively and easily as possible. However, the larger the blog, the more time-consuming it becomes to manage them all. This goes double for affiliate links from third-party programs.
That’s because if an affiliate link URL changes or needs to be replaced, I would have to independently search through all of the posts and pages the link was featured to be able to swap it out. This is not only time-consuming but also annoying and could cost me income as a result.
So finding a solution that allows me to do all of this in one place without having to click through every post or page was perfect.
The Solution: ClickWhale
With ClickWhale I was able to manage my affiliate links in one place in no time.
I currently manage around 244 affiliate links in ClickWhale, which makes my affiliate marketing much easier.
The brilliant thing for me is that no matter where I have placed this affiliate link on my blog, I can change the URL behind the link with just one click of my mouse using ClickWhale.
This allows me to focus more on generating new content than on setting or exchanging affiliate links throughout my website.
More Than Just a Link Manager: Increasing Conversions
The Link Manager features in ClickWhale have become incredibly valuable for me and my blog. The plugin not only makes link management easier, but the clear statistics also allow me to see exactly which links are working well or badly.
Of course, this also means that I was able to increase my conversion and therefore my revenue by more than 75% with the help of ClickWhale.
In the screenshot above, you can see an affiliate network that I completely switched over to ClickWhale in February 2024. I had generated almost 0 conversions here in the previous months. But now there’s a clear increase – HUGE in my opinion!
What I particularly appreciate about ClickWhale:
- Affiliate links: By improving the management and organization of my links, I was able to place them in a more targeted and strategic way, resulting in higher click-through rates.
- User experience: Having well-placed links naturally leads to my visitors staying on my blog for longer.
- SEO: The efficient management of internal links also contributes to the SEO of my blog, improves visibility in search engines and attracts more traffic.
Why Every Blogger and/or Affiliate Marketer Should Use ClickWhale
ClickWhale is much more than just a link management tool. For me, it has proven to be a crucial factor in monetizing my blog. It does this by not only simplifying affiliate link management but also helping to increase my conversion rate. Both of which have simultaneously led to more affiliate marketing revenue.
Manage “Normal” Links with ClickWhale: Is That Possible?
With ClickWhale you can not only manage affiliate links as the link manager tool is available for all types of links. In other words, my affiliate links as well as separate pages for my social media channels.
You can also manage outgoing links and internal links. In other words, if the structure of your website or the URL of a specific page changes, you can easily change it via the Link Manager feature so that existing links point directly to the new URL.
If you also offer e-books or other media for download, you can use ClickWhale to manage the download link, which refers to G-Drive, Dropbox or similar cloud services.
ClickWhale is versatile and simple at the same time!
Another big plus as a blogger is the customizable link pages for social media, where I can also place affiliate links. This means I can do without other apps like Linktree and manage everything important in just one plugin: ClickWhale.

Concluding Thoughts on ClickWhale
My blog has developed considerably thanks to ClickWhale. From the efficient management of my affiliate links to the increase in the conversion rate and income in affiliate marketing. I truly have ClickWhale to thank.
For anyone who runs their blog with WordPress and wants to monetize it as efficiently as possible, there’s no way around a link manager like this. The plugin offers numerous features in addition to what I’ve mentioned thus far. Many that you probably wouldn’t have expected in such a sophisticated link manager.
This tool has not only made it easier for me to use affiliate links, but I‘ve also been able to replace several plugins with one – ClickWhale.
